Archiving Policy

Islam and Digital Humanities (IDIH) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles.

To guarantee continuous access to scholarly content, the journal implements digital archiving systems that preserve and maintain the availability of its publications over time.

Archiving System

The journal uses archiving mechanisms to ensure that all published content is securely stored and remains accessible in the future. These mechanisms include:

  • Archiving within the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform

  • Storage in institutional repositories

  • Indexing in academic databases and repositories

LOCKSS and CLOCKSS

The journal supports digital preservation systems such as:

  • LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

  • CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)

These systems allow participating libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.

Repository Policy

Authors are permitted to deposit the published version of their articles in:

  • Institutional repositories

  • National or international repositories

  • Personal websites

  • Academic networking platforms

Authors are encouraged to provide clear citation to the original publication in the Journal of Digital Innovation, Technology, and Humanities (JDITH).

Long-Term Accessibility

Through this archiving policy, the journal ensures that all published articles will remain permanently accessible to the global academic community.
